Amy spends copious amounts of time

alone, making up people and places

and things. When she’s not writing, Amy

can be found reading, exploring other

artistic outlets and playing with her kids.

She’s particularly fond of bats.

Plain Spoke and The Liars League. Her

children’s story “Harvey and the Horrible

Sneeze” was published in the 13th Annual

Bedtime Storybook. She is currently writing

a series of young adult novels and web comics.

Her stories have been published by Plain Spoke and performed by The Liars League. Her children’s story ”Harvey and the Horrible Sneeze” was published in the 13th Annual Bedtime Storybook. She earned an honorable mention in the WOW! Women on Writing Summer 2009 Flash Fiction Contest, and won third place in the 27th Annual 3-Day Novel Contest. Amy is a member of SCBWI. She is currently writing young adult novels and exploring just how short flash fiction can be and still qualify as a story.
